Before is first contact with trance music in the year 1997, he was part of several bands as freelancer musician, playing with and performing arranjements for other musicians, especially bass and keyboard players.

He is connected to computer science, working as network and hardware/software technician for several years, the daily contact with computer softwares and machines gave him the chance to explore the unlimited options to produce all types of music, especially drum`n bass and psytrance, in the year 2000 Quantum Leap as born.

Later on, in year 2003 Diogo met Ricardo J. and both start working in some tracks togheter, using each one influences from full on to dark psy trance, then they decided to join forces and Ricardo becomes a member of Quantum Leap. Both are also working in Reactor, a more darker project full of power and twisted sounds.

Diogo is also the founder of Twilight Zone Productions (www.tlzone.org), organisers of psytrance events in Portugal, later on in the end of year 2003 he was invited by Shu Ki Golan to represent Kagdila Records (www.kagdilarecords.com) in Portugal (www.kagdilaportugal.com) with dj Eksco, who`s also part of Twilight Zone Productions artists crew.

Quantum Leap promoted and performed in events with some of the best portuguese and foreign artists like: Prognosis (Craig and Graeme), Dynamic (Shay and Ben), Ultravoice (Avi Levi), Analog Pussy (Jino and Jigga), Infected Mushroom (Amit and Erez), Cosmosis (Bill Halsey), Bamboo Forest (Yann and Stephane), Burn in Noise (Gustavo Manfroni), Vibe Tribe (Stas and Elmar), Ananda Shake, Analog Xperience, Sidhartha (dj Eksco), Suria, N3xu5, Khopat, Tryambaka, Clockwise, AFX, D-Maniacs (dj D-Man), Membrana (dj Migas), dj Vortex, dj Otiram, Dj Agni Spark, dj Ecco(o), dj Logic, dj Shaitan, dj P_Mac, dj Zebra_N, dj Korpora, dj Mustapha, dj Smurph, dj Juggler, dj Duniya, dj Ganje, dj Freeza, dj Fun-gas, dj Kobra Kay, dj Tryptamine 46, dj Setidat, dj Franco, djane Anassor, among others.
